2019 Syrah, Stoney Vine Vineyard
Grown by local industry pioneer, Cecil Zerba, this Syrah was co-fermented with Viognier to achieve a slightly floral aroma and bright color. On the nose, this wine will remind you of fresh baked berry cobbler: blackberries and raspberries, toasted hazelnuts, nutmeg, vanilla, allspice, and just a hint of sage. On the palate, this wine is plush, yet mouthwatering with well-rounded tannins.
Enjoy with: pulled pork, sweet bourbon BBQ chicken wings, grilled pork chops with fruit compote.
